Aaah, I see you played a french version of General Bussig (General

Btw, have you heard Spirit of Ecstacy - the car opera?

I recall someone from the Flaming Lips had a similar project - a

Oh, and now Anders Blomqvist on the Rodcast. Also cool.

The compilation will be distributed free of charge to US radio stations and public access media outlets. Submissions must be 60 seconds in duration and be free of language which would violate FCC regulations for radio airplay. In a follow-up project to the 2004 CommTom release, "Polyphonic Voices Of Digital Dissent", which appeared on Democracy Now, Air America, and numerous radio stations across the United States, CommTom will release this next compilation to an increased number of targeted broadcasters across the United States. The accepted submissions will also be available for free download from the CommTom website, but will not be sold in stores. Custom packaging, designed and letterpress printed by MATTER will round out the presentation. Ooooh, I don't think anyone else has ever googled me before -
extensively that is.

I feel all pingy inside! Thanks for the interest.

Yup, it's all out there - kinda like looking at the inside wall of
a horse stall:
bremsstrahlung recordings, phonography.org, Steinklang
Industries et al.

Oh! and there's an installation in the Canadian Rockies! - ha! -
well, not sure if it's still going...

Never been in much of a hurry when it comes to compiling my work,
'cause I'm usually sending it out without thoughts of archiving it.
Some have been in the form of single copies sent without any form of
backup at all.

It's pretty much ephemeral anyway.

As each release has come out over the years,
I've slowly become disheartened by the quality-control of other labels,
so I began thinking of compiling works for self-release.
But as time goes by, disc media is becoming less attractive to me,
so I've taken some baby steps at a website with hopes of media bits
attached.

But by the time I get to that, something else will come along -
maybe some weird form of telepathy.
Need to find another company that'll provide more than 50 MB of
disk space and 6 GB of transfer for a decent price.
So, maybe after traveling this summer, I'll hook up with someone like
Go-Daddy

and start compiling media on my website thru them.
Still: not in a hurry (as you can tell...)

OK, it seems that the track listings are refreshing now,
so you can get some idea what's playing or has been played:

Performance of 3:33

Pre-Performance: Opened the Date and Time Properties window on my PC so that
I would have a clock with a second-hand to watch while performing. Opened a
reply-to e-mail message to prepare for documenting the performance.

Minute 1: Nothing happened, I picked up my black Papermate pen and wrote the
word 'nothing' on a print-out of an e-mail message. Put the pen down again and
held hands over keyboard again.

Minute 2: Nothing happened, I picked up my black Papermate pen and wrote the
word 'nothing' under the first 'nothing' on the print-out of an e-mail message.
Put the pen down again and held hands over keyboard again.

Minute 3: Nothing happened, I picked up my black Papermate pen and wrote the
word 'nothing' under the second 'nothing' on the print-out of an e-mail message.
Put the pen down again and held hands over keyboard again.

Final 33 Seconds: Nothing happened, I picked up my black Papermate pen and wrote
the word 'nothing' beside the first 'nothing' on the print-out of an e-mail
message.

Post-Performance: Put the pen down again and began typing this message on my PC
 keyboard.

Could've done enough to last a whole week, but

So, this means that you have about another day's worth
to tune in to whenever you like.

So far: we've heard from many of our Swedish text-sound

even younger composers in that country

By the way, the listings address that I posted earlier is
