As you have visited the site you will know the information here:
http://xml.apache.org/fop/testing.html
This is all the information.
The plans are to get FOP to be able to run through all the tests first.
Of course if more people were involved then someone could work on
improving this.
Maybe

What are _your_ plans with regard to the material offered by W3C/Carmelo?
As mentioned by Keiron (see http://xml.apache.org/fop/testing.html), the
current FOP tests are based on automatically comparing the ouput
of two FOP revisions.

Hi Maneshi,
you should use an correct URI, file:// or http:// make sure that
your application has the proper rights to access the image espially for the
file:// protocol. Relative URLs do not work as far as I know, so make them
absolute, e.g. http://somewhere.com/images/myimg.gif
Hi Lukas,
mixing support classes such as xerces, batik etc. is *not* a good idea. The
danger is that you will be getting errors for proper code due to the not
tested blend of jars. I can tell you this from my own experience. It may
work, though ...

Hi All,
I have updated the website and added the design docs.
The design is not complete, it is only a start.
Hopefully that was time well spent and will be a start to getting more
information to users and developers (and casual observers).
Without SLBR there is always more to do and anyone
Maybe it's a silly question, but
where is the website?

Could be a problem if you don't know!
All XML apache projects live under
http://xml.apache.org
FOP is under here:
http://xml.apache.org/fop/
are there any know issues or setup requirements with rendering japanese
characters to awt with fop? I can render these characters correctly to pdf
using a config file, but rendering to awt results in blank (empty box)
characters where each foriegn character should be. Iam using the
arialuni.ttf
It looks and reads well...definitely time well spent. Thanks.

Hi Cyril, we had a similar problem, the
I think Xmas release if it is done in the rush may appear to be Halloween
release ;-)
You should consider it will be new year's release.
Even if I would be glad to have some maintenance (REC and so on) I would
not want you to jeopardize this maintenance branch's quality.
Thanks
Cyril

I need to insert a bullet into my fo doc. can this be done or do i need to
use an inline graphic? using sans serif default font
also i tried to use the crlf;
[ERROR]: The entity crlf was referenced, but not declared.
i do not understand this at all.
please help.
I'm willing to do the actual release mechanics any time, apart from
Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. :-) I'd say any time during the 12 Days of
Christmas counts for calling it a holiday release. :-)

I do this:

I don't know if the fo:block is needed though...

Hi Matt,
Here's how I usually use bullet points:

One little thing I forgot to mention.

The option indefinite for page-height and width is ignored by fop , and
any value passes to these
attributes that is'nt a numeric value ends up a A4. according to xsl fo
reference i could set either
page-height or width to measurement and the other to indefinite to have
