Interesting suggestion... however, I’m not sure this would work well.
For example, I recently removed trailing whitespaces from java files,
and that involved almost every file from the codebase. May I pretend to
be a specialist of all the areas of expertise in FOP after that? I’m not
entirely sure... ;-)
Also, some committers are mainly active by answering questions on
fop-dev or fop-users, or participating in votes, and that counts at
least as much as contributing code.
