Table size spanning pages

I've run into a problem with formatting a table for an invoice. What I'm looking to do is for the table footer to be placed in the same location on the last page of the invoice. IE: the total invoice value and summary notes should be placed 1 from the bottom of the page. What's happening now is

Pass a xml String to FOP Servlet?

The current FOP servlet takes an xml file and xsl file as inout parameters to generate a pdf file. My question is: How can I pass a xml Stringinstead of a xml file? I have a JSP that constructs dynamic xml String and would like my user to be able to view it as pdf. Right nowmy work-around
