Thank you for your attention.
I've tried with 0.94 and it works fine.
Problem appears only with 0.95beta
(and I need this last version since it corrects
i-don't-remember-which-problem).
Which 0.95 version do you use ?

Ooops, you're right. That was a bug in 0.95beta. It is fixed in the 0.95
branch: https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/xmlgraphics/fop/branches/fop-0_95
I really need to find time to prepare the 0.95 final release at some
point. Priorities. Grmbl...

No, the mapping is correct. You think in terms of one-byte encodings.
XSL-FO and therefore FOP is a Unicode application. If you want the

Works for me. The problem indicator is in the warning you posted:
it says SingleByteFont. So I assume you generated an XML font metrics
file with the -enc ansi option and use that. But the WinAnsi encoding
does indeed not have these glyphs even through the font itself has them.

Hi all,
I am running fop 0.95 beta and would like to know whether or not its
possible to specify the PDF property which would prevent a user copying the
text from the generated PDF.
I am assuming I can specify a FOP property but I have searched in vain.
Any help would be much appreciated.

In addition to this is there a way to set all the PDF Document Restrictions
including Assembly, Page Extraction, Creation of Template Pages etc...
Many Thanks.

If someone is able to see it in the screen, it can always copy/past it, even
if the pdf is rights-damaged.
All that is needed is a photo/image and an OCR... which are pretty common

Only what is documented on the indicated page is currently supported.
I've seen that newer revisions of PDF allow additional permission flags.
But they have not been implemented, yet. We currently produce PDF 1.4
only.

If RTF2FO produces a 'q' for the theta character in the XSL-FO then
that's incorrect. What FO2HTML tool did you use? With RenderX's
stylesheet the HTML shows a 'q' in Firefox.
I stand corrected. Microsoft appears to be

As Jeremias already noted, no obvious bugs present. All FOP does, is

IIC, this is a FOP limitation for all versions up to and including 0.95.
FOP Trunk should now use another font than Symbol for a 'q'. Max
implemented basic support for character-by-character font-selection,
which is probably what Firefox does too.
