Hi!

I use FOP to create PDFs with embedded SVG-Files.

I have problems with the color-profiles. When I open my PDF in Adobe Illustrator CS 4/5 I get no Color-Warnings and everything looks fine. Like expected Adobe is using sRGB correctly to render the file. The Document-Informations verify the right Color Profile sRGB.

But when I open the same PDF with Adobe Reader 9 / 10 or Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 a CMYK-Profile is used and the Colors aren't correct.

So, something is wrong with my file, but I really don't know what it is and what I can do.

btw. when I save my file with Adobe illustrator with a new name, Adobe reader shows the right profile.

I tried to produce a PDF/A-file, but because my SVG-Files are using transparency this isn't possible (PDF/A doesn't allow transparency).

Thanks for every thoughts!

best regards
