Pri te zmince o prepnuti kontroly pravopisu - kdyz jsme zkouseli odhalit co muze
zpusobovat nahodne vkladani nahodnych znaku do otevrenych souboru, zkouseli jsme
vypinat vse co slo (pruzkumnika kodu, syntaxi,...). Ale pravopis jsme urcite
nezkouseli - nemohl by jeste v nem byt zakopany pes?

Jaka verze programu?
Pri postupnem zavirani (Ctrl+F4) se zavira jeden soubor, nastavuje se focus na
dalsi v poradi a pri tom se dela spousta veci na pozadi (průzkumnik kódu,
prepnuti kontorly pravopisu na aktivni okno, atd.) Pokud to zavreni udelate
rychle za sebou, je mozne, ze se to poseka.
Zkusim se zamyslet, jak to vyresit.

Problémy při zavírání souborů [79045]

Na všech PC kde používám PSPad vznikají často problémy při zavírání
souborů (naprostá většina na FTP) - pracuji několik hodin a mám otevřeno
několik souborů (cca do 15) z jednoho FTP serveru. Když končím práci tak
je pomocí ctrl+f4 postupně zavírám. A opravdu často se stane že PSpad při
zavírání některého ze souborů spadne a je nutné jej pak ukončit přes
správce úloh. 
Ale zajímavé je něco jiného - pokud pro zavírání použiji metodu že
kliknu pravým tlačítkem na záhlaví souboru a vyberu Zavřít vše, Zavřít
mimo aktuální nebo Zavřít zprava, zavření je bleskové a navíc se mi
nikdy nestalo že by PSPad havaroval. 
Jaký je rozdíl při zavírání souborů když ho provedu ručně anebo touto
druhou metodou? Dělá editor něco navíc?

I guess the best way will be scripting. You can write simple script in JScript
or VPScript, assign shortcut and use it on selected text.

Or you can try to play with macro record, but it's little complicated, cause you
want to remove quotas around selected text. Something like:
Create Bookmark Shift+Ctrl+1
Cut
Go to end of file
Create empty line (Enter)
Paste
home
del
write 
end
left, del
end 
bckspc
write 
home
Shift+End
Cut
BckSpc (delete line we created)

I wonder if it is possible to create a macro for converting quotes into HTML
quotes.

What I'd like to do is this:

Mark an ASCII-quoted text and press the macro keyboard shortcut which then
removes the ASCII quote characters and replaces them by the HTML quotes, like
this:

This is some text where I selected the word _"John Doe"_ [quotation
mark characters included] for quote conversion.

Result:

This is some text where I selected the word _John Doe_ for
quote conversion.

I would love to hear if this is possible somehow.

Ctrl-Z: rád bych byl konkrétnější, ale při práci jsem klávesovou zkratku
už radši nepoužíval a když to zkouším teď jen tak, tak se to chová
normálně. Kdybych na něco přišel, dám vědět. Možná to dělalo na
počítači v práci, zkusím to zítra tam, i když mám na obou nové
stabilní verze.

Zadání chybného heslo k FTP [79038]

Dlouho jsem se programováním zezabýval, kdysi pomocí skvělého PSPadu
furt.

Rozčiluje mě, když zadám chybné heslo při připojování k FTP (caps lock,
omylem vypnu numpad například), že mě to nevyzve k zadání nového hesla,
ale nabízí to hledat řešení na internetu, no dobrá, to fakt nechci, když
to tedy vyexnu a chci se znovu lépe připojit, nenabízí to už zadání
hesla, ale znovu se to připojuje s tím původním chybným heslem, nic s tím
nenadělám, musím PSPad ukončit a znovu nastartovat, což je při rozdělané
přáci problém.

No ještě se to divně chová při Undo pomocí Ctrl-Z, při zmáčknutí
tlačítka Undo ne.

Zbežne som čítal diskusie a dostal som sa aj k tejto.

Preklad je už opravený na "RGB zápis:" .. zistil som to tiež, tak som
porovnal aj anglický preklad aj český, ktoré sa úplne líšia, takže som
použil preklad z anglického výrazu "RGB notation:", ktorý je podľa mňa
výstižnejši, nez český "Složkové vyjádření:", pretože z českého
prekladu by mi vyšiel výraz "Zložkové vyjadrenie:"



Také je zajímavé zmínit, že překlad technických termínů může být
často problematický, protože různé jazyky mohou mít různé konvence a
terminologie. V tomto případě je důležité, aby překlad byl co
nejpřesnější a nejlépe srozumitelný pro uživatele. Pokud jde o software
jako PSPad, přesný a jasný překlad může výrazně zlepšit uživatelský
zážitek.

Zdravím,
nevím, jestli je na to nějaký obecně použitelný postup, který by nebyl
destruktivní pro žádoucí text, ale pokud je identifikován problematický
znak, dá se v PSPadu najít a nahradit
použitím hexadecimálního kódu znaku v regulérním výrazu;
pro tento konkrétní  dec: 8288 :: hex: 0x2060 - WORD JOINER 
je to:
\x{2060}

(dá se asi nahradit za prázdný řetězec, nebo nějaký náhradní - podle
potřeby).

Jestli jde o skupinu souborů ze stejného zdroje s tímto problémem, je
možné, že půjde jen o tenhle jeden znak a pomůže přednahrazení před
další editací.

Asi by mělo jít i uložit uživatelský konvertor s řadu takových náhrad
regulérními výrazy pro zjištěné nežádoucí znaky.

"Násilná" možnost zrušení "exotických" znaků je převedení do
kódování, které je nepodporují - třeba prostým přeuložením ve windows
1250 se "word joiner" nahradil za ? (ztratily by se tak ale i všechny ostatní
nepodporované znaky, které mohou být žádoucí).

Hi,
i guess, a part of the problem is the search pattern, | is a special
(meta)character in regular expression mode;
You have to escape it with a backslash for searching a literal "pipe" |

The other part is indeed the current limitation of PSPad in searching/replacing
newlines.
However, in this case the mentioned workaround seems to help - backward search
direction, after placing the cursor at the end of the file.

Search for:
\|
Replace with:
|


[x] Regular expressions

Search direction
(.) Backward

Hello Jan,

I frequently use PSPad on my notebook when I'm traveling. I noticed that
2-finger touchpad gestures for horizontal scrolling don't work in the editor
window (while working flawlessly for vertical scrolling).

A quick internet search indicates that Delphi doesn't handle the WM_MOUSEHWHEEL
message (not to be confused with WM_MOUSEWHEEL).
Not sure if these sources are helpful since I'm not familiar with Delphi.

K tomu slouží kompilátor v nastavení zvýrazňovačů / Kompilátor
Pro každý typ je možné nastavit externí program, zpracovávat log,
zvýraznit řádky s chybou atd.

Přebít to pak jde použitím projektu a nastavením kompilátoru na úrovni
projektu

Chcel by som poslať, cez klávesovú skratku, aktuálne editovaný súbor
[.html, .css, .json, .js a pod.] v editore na spracovanie v externom programe
(presnejšie: skripte v PHP), _ako na to?_

Ide to nejak? Musí sa súbor uložiť alebo to nejak ide i tak?

Tiež by sa hodilo, ak by nejak výstup okrem upraveného súboru vrátil aj
nejaké info (ako to poslať späť?), ktoré by sa _zobrazili v log _okne
(Warnings, Errors, etc.).

Taky pracuju s textaky a potrebuju mit podtrzene odkazy na ktere se da
ctrl+kliknout.

Tlacitko "zapne nebo vypne zvyrazneni syntaxe" mi ani nejde zapnout (v txt
modu).

Drive na win 7 jsem to mel podtrzene automaticky vsechno, ale na win 11 nemam v
ramci obsahu rozlisene odkazy, coz je dost problem :-(

Problém s pomalým chodem nebo zaseknutím PSPadu při práci s dlouhými
textovými řádky s automatickým zalamováním slov je frustrující pro mnoho
uživatelů. Zvláště v případě, kdy se musí pracovat s obsáhlými texty
nebo kódy, se tato chyba stává zjevnější

PSPadu aktivně pracovali na nalezení a opravě této chyby. Pokud jde o
uživatele, mohou provést dočasná opatření, jako je omezení délky
textových řádků, ale to není trvalé řešení. Doufejme, že vývojáři
brzy vyvinou stabilní opravu, která umožní plynulé a bezproblémové
používání PSPadu i při práci s dlouhými řádky textu.

In my opinion, work directly on shared drive folder is bad idea. OneDrive will
lock files during your work and cause problems.

Preblikávanie toolbaru pod záložkou súboru [78986]

Zdravím,
dnes som "niečo stlačil" a začali sa mi zobrazovať okná v štýle Windows
2000/XP asi MDI, každý v malom okne na ploche PSPad-u.

Po maximálizácii sa tam objavil hore trvale taký toolbar, ktorý tam bežne
nebýva.
Po otvorení nového súboru to zmizlo, ale preblikáva to pri prepínaní medzi
záložkami/súbormi.

New editor component contains MarkDown, including preview as I noticed.
Unfortunately, it wont't be visible immediately in editor, but you will be able
to see it in the split view

Hello. I would like to use PSPad to edit Wikipedia articles offline. The main
goal is to distinguish the article text from references, links and other
formatting. Unfortunately, I could not get my own highlighter working properly.
The basic functionality would be to recognize:

Other formatting like

Jan, yes it exists!

Most PDF viewers send complete information (sometimes only approximate) of the
location where the user double-clicked.

This allows the reader to locate - immediately - which **.tex* file of your
sources the user double-clicked on.

When I worked with this (reverse search) coding in Tinn-R - it's been many
years, and it still works well today - I noticed that not all viewers have this
feature. I suggest Tinn-R users use Sumatra, as it is very accurate in sending
information.

You can read about this in the Sumatra documentation:

If you need, tell me and I can send you the part of the Tinn-R source code that
does this. And it's good, I believe.

The way it is implemented, it only works if the file is not open. If it is
already open, it does not change the line, which is what is necessary in the
case of reverse search.

Tento problém mám už strašně dlouho, snad už od verze 3.. Nikdy se mi
nepodařilo identifikovat co to přesně dělá, ale mám podezření na
nahrazování s regulárními výrazy u větších zdrojových kódů, tak
aspoň 1000 řádků. Prostě to někde náhodně přepíše mezery a nějaké
slovo na takovýto nebo podobný paznak.

I tried, just changing the editor's name, in the figure I sent you previously
and I was unsuccessful!

In other words, I compile a LaTeX document in PSPad (test.tex), after
compilation the document opens in Sumatra (test.pdf), when I double click
somewhere in the PDF file (test.pdf) the PSPad does not points to the
corresponding location in the test.tex file.

How do you want convince any external application to send any command after
doubleclick?
PSPad is able to use command line to search file, but I am not able modify
e.g.Sumatra to implment doubleclick action

Hi,

I am unable to locate the reverse search feature in the PSPad interface
(file.PDF -> file.Tex). In other words, double-clicking on a PDF file - compiled
using the PSPad compile instruction - the PDF viewer (I recommend Sumatra) sends
the information (C:\Users\...PSpad\PSPad.exe "%f;% l") from which file (%f) and
line (%l) the PDF was double-clicked. Thus, you can edit directly in the
file.tex file. This is often used in corrections, as we can only see the final
form after the file is compiled.

My question is: is this feature implemented?

When document is loaded, it's converted to unicode and all cr/lf are changed to
Cr+Lf to be able edit document.
Original state is constructed back when you save it.

But I don't have 486,476 characters in my file.  I only have 485,773. Are you
adding 703 characters for an imaginary windows linefeed on each record, even
though those aren't actually in my file?  I find that misleading.

Pri prepínaní záložiek(kariet) je preblikávanie obsahu okien vidieť aj pri
bežnom načítaní dokumentov, či už sú alebo nie sú v projekte, alebo sú
synchronizované alebo porovnávané. U iných editorov som takýto jav
neregistroval.

I have a data file that was created in Linux. Linux says it is 485,773 bytes. I
downloaded it to my laptop and set it to "read only". File Explorer says it is
485,773 bytes. The file has 703 records that are 690 bytes of data plus 1 byte
for the Linux CR, which totals 485,773 bytes. When I open the file with PSPad,
on the status line at the bottom is says the file is Unix and the size is
486,476. If I use CTRL+A to select all of the data, that number changes to
485,070. Neither one seems to be correct, or is at least confusing. Please
explain.

Do you run PSPad without elevated rights?
Can you try restore PSPad.ini from your backup?



It is indeed a local folder.
My PSPAD is installed in personal directory c:\marc\pspad with all rights, so no
elevation needed.
The INI file from version 815 was the same as from working version 779.

1. pridať tam HSL model posuvníky (pod tie súčastné) a oboje, jak RGB, tak
HSL posuvníky ofarbiť, napr, ako to má mnoho prográmkov, napr.

2. pridať piatu možnosť pre kopírovanie hodnoty RGBA, teda tvar:

Okrem iného by sme mohli o správnosti výrazov dlho diskutovať, pretože ani
Záložka (myslené ako karta súboru alebo dokumentu) by nemal byť správny
výraz, pretože ako Záložka je zároveň použitý aj výraz pre vytvorenie
záložky v dokumente. Keď to beriem z hľadiska rutinných prekladov z
rôznych programov, tak pre Záložku na okne dokumentu pri prepínaní na inú
záložku je používaný termín "Karta".

Zbežne som čítal diskusie a dostal som sa aj k tejto.

Preklad je už opravený na "RGB zápis:" .. zistil som to tiež, tak som
porovnal aj anglický preklad aj český, ktoré sa úplne líšia, takže som
použil preklad z anglického výrazu "RGB notation:", ktorý je podľa mňa
výstižnejši, nez český "Složkové vyjádření:", pretože z českého
prekladu by mi vyšiel výraz "Zložkové vyjadrenie:"
