xinetd was reset on the server about 1.5 hours ago. Everything
appears to be working again.
Dunno why xinetd keeps getting hung up.

can't get fossil 2.4 to compile w/ tcl support:
ron@localhost:~/src/fossil-2.4$ ./configure
--with-th1-hooks --with-tcl=1
