I just bought an additional Hummingbird recently, the cost for a single
seat is $550.00
There are discounts for multiple seats, site licenses etc...
The latest version, works on Windows2000.

Does anyone use or know of a filter or monitor that is made especially for

Does anyone know of a company that provides training on the Foxboro I/A
system, besides Foxboro?
The training provided by Foxboro is very slow paced, and takes two weeks to
cover one week of material.
Are there other alternatives?
thanks for you comments,

We use the Allen-Bradley and Modbus Integrators. Does this mean no future
development or no
further support?
We've been waiting a long time for improved Allen-Bradley support . We
were promised ethernet

I have been told that it works fine with AIM*, for data collection, but the

I've tried it and get an empty file. I've been told that I have to

I looked it up in FOXDOC, I think I have configured it correctly.
Question, when does it start, after clicking "done"?
I also edited the init.user file in /usr/fox/wp/data
for it to start on boot. (AW51/WP51)
The only question is does it work with AIM historian (3.02)?
Thanks for the help
Ken
After speaking with our former application engineer, I agree that the
setpars is not what we want to do.
We currently only use the "setpars" tool after an unusual event, it is not
used on a routine basis, the display
with the call button is not nomally accessible.
Do you recommend running a chec
It is a Unix script, currently called via a foxview button , I would like
to include this in the sequence logic if possible.
The script utilizes the "setpars" tool found in /opt/fox/bin/tools.

Thanks for the input,
I have a script that places all GDEV blocks in auto. How would you use this
in HLBL. I would like to place all GDEV's in auto at the beginning of the
Sequence Logic.
thanks in advance

There are some references on the FOXDOC CD, but they are in about three
different places.
Also the use of "C precursor " commands is not mentioned anywhere.
HLBL syntax does resemble Pascal, but it is not Pascal.

Can anyone recommend a reference manual source for the HLBL used in
sequence code?
