Hi Egwin, You can't use these building blocks in an autonumber to get the effect that you want. You can use a bunch of spaces at the end of the autonumber to force the text to the next line, but that may have side-effects that you don't want. Or, you can use two separate paragraphs. Rick

I would think that putting the heading into the header or footer would be the usual thing here. At least it seems that the big ones (companies) have not come up with a solution and some of them don't even make use of FM's Table Continuation variable but rather stick to the old typewriting concept!
