I am trying to set up consecutive numbering for figures and tables across multiple chapters in a book. The structure and template uses a paragraph Tag with numbering set to n+. Each chapter restarts at #1. According to the Framemaker 7.0 Online Manual, Autonumbered paragraphs are numbered

Hello Framers I'm trying to display the "<" character in my index and all I get is an empty space with the page number at its side. Is this a reserved character in Framemaker? I am using Framemaker 7.0 and Ixgen on Windows XP Pro. The archives show nothing of this sort. Celine Deguire
