The only issue I recall hearing about XP SP3 with FM is that a security fix
in it breaks OLE objects in older versions of FrameMaker (pre ver. 9.0?). So
if you've used File Import Objects to bring in files, you'll run into
problems.

Sounds like the most likely fix is to check the FM application files to make
sure that they point to the right paths. On top of that there is also the
potential to review the RW to see where it is. The default STRUCTDIR is

embedded OLE objects. If you use embedded OLE, you will have problems.
This is not an issue with Frame 9.

Probably not, but you can always perform the famous "MIF-wash" to fix issues -
save the .fm as .mif and re-open the .mif and save as .fm
