Hello Jay
I had a similar problem when setting up TCS2 on a new machine.
Two things:
1. Add the following line to the maker.ini file in your *local folder*, not in
Program Files. That is (on Vista), \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker. If you add it to the one in Program
Files it doesn't make a

This behavior is absolutely correct. When you create an x-ref in FrameMaker,
the tool has to place a (semi-)uniquely numbered marker at the target location
that the x-ref is pointing to. If you do not save the file that the marker was
inserted into (e.g., close it without saving it, or if you a

I have TCS2 on a 64-bit Win7 system. I'm having the same problems that Anne
discussed in this thread http://forums.adobe.com/message/3473915#3473915. I
tried the modification to maker.ini that is listed in that thread, and I've
tried reinstalling the FM9 and RH8 components from the TCS2 installa

Hi Alison,
Right Hemisphere had a plug-in for FM that allowed for the importation
of 3D objects that could then be manipulated in PDF. The client was
called Deep View and you could take CAD files and drop them into the
FM file.
This explains the process:

Right now I only use static images that have been culled from SolidWorks for me
by one of the Mechanical Engineers (I don't use SolidWorks myself and have no
time - or intention - to learn how.) If I could get the images myself, that
would be a plus and if I could use them as 3D images, so much

I didn't actually get an error, just static images.

According to the Help, Enfocus PitStop will show side-to-side, not create a
combined document. I need to show the differences in a combined document for
distribution to reviewers.
