Lots of people are running FM 7.2 on 64-bit Windows 7 without problems. The switch to Unicode in FrameMaker 8 broke a lot of things. It's not cost-effective to respond to a compatibility problem you can easily fix for free by spending $1000 (per seat) on a new release that will may require a lot

Desktop Window Manager handles Windows' visual effects. If you're having problems with it, you might want to turn off all the Aero stuff. It may be conflicting with that weird UI layer in FrameMaker. (There's a name for that framework, but I've forgotten it.) I turn off all that stuff as a

HTML5 help is just a jazzier version of WebHelp, so the same delivery methods you would use for WebHelp apply. Our company creates 2 flavours of WebHelp for one of our products & it gets included in the build for one flavour and is a separate self-extracting executable for the other.
