I wasn't pretending to provide a definitive answer, but if I can't read the
fonts on my screen I make the screen resolution such that the fonts are not so
tiny. Then I can read them. That seems pretty intuitive to me.
You could also tear off the pod and put it on a second monitor that is set
If the only way to change the size is to change the monitor
resolution, I think that's a "no."
Does any other Adobe application use that weird UI framework?

Edit > Preferences > General and then choosing monitor size might help (see
graphic below), but it sounds like you should be changing the resolution of
your monitor if you can't see them.
