I created a 'real' footnote reference in text outside the table, so the
footnote text appears at the bottom of the page with the other 'real'

Oops. Should have read your post carefully. I don't think Irfanview can open
vector graphics.

I cannot open unstructured files created in FM7.2 in FM6+SGML.
Is this correct? If not, is there anything I can do to open the files in
FM6?
