Adobe Illustrator Dimensioning Tool

Hi, Hopefully, it is ok to ask this question here. Does anyone know if AI has a dimensioning tool, please? I have used Corel Draw in the past and it had a very easy to use tool, to enable dimensioning of objects (width, height, etc ). A quick online search revealed that a plugin is required.
