Hello all, I've installed a new joboptions file (capdf8), but I can't get FrameMaker to recognize it. That is, if I open Distiller 8.1.0, I see it in the Default Settings pull-down, and if I search my c:\ drive, I can find it in c:\Documents and Settings\my username\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe

You are on the right track -- the options location changed with Distiller 8; FM 7 still looks in the old location. However, you're just running into a normal ownership problem -- the files or directories are probably owned by different users. If you can't find an Admin with root privs, you may
