I think maybe we'd need a bit more info. But the short answer is yes,
you can do this.
Now, for the basic how:
1. Format the text for the link using an appropriate character
format. (We use a "Hypertext" character format that displays the link
text as underlined blue.)
2. Place
Use a hypertext marker in FrameMaker.
1. Make your link, e.g. Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
(I've found you HAVE to use some sort of character tag on a hypertext
marker, otherwise the entire paragraph becomes a link)
2. Select the text of your link and add a hypertext marker as follows:
message URL
In FM, embed a hypertext link saying:
message URL mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
Because you have no way of knowing what the default ap is, this basic
string probably won't work on ALL systems because of the way different
browsers and OSs invoke the mail client. Probably works on most
