Have you tried booting into safe mode and installing as Admin from there?

newly partitioned and formatted drive. What worked for me was to set up a dummy
User Account and log in as that user, then install - and the only other account
was Administrator. (!) This also fixed an identical

Helen, I don't think we have the same problem because we do not install the
PDF maker component (and never have). Also, the rollback + the reported
message appear exactly one step before I'd expect the PDF Maker installation
routine.
