Re: Cross-reference to marker text
I don't think it's possible with cross-refs because the text inside the marker is invisible. However, you can easily achieve this with hypertext markers. Use Specify Named Destination to mark the spot. Then type the word, select it (in order to make it a link) and create a Jump To Named Destination marker. Shmeul, I don't have mif2go on this computer, so I can't point you to the specific page in the manual, but the manual pretty clearly explains the graphic file handling options. Did you download it? Distiller Printing Error
Hi, Everyone! Been away for awhile, since my work on my door fixing book was complete, and I had successfully created two different PDF versions with no glitches. But alas, I have revised a certain section and attempted to create new PDF's with failed results. During PDF generation, as Distiller works diligently through the pages, it suddenly comes upon pg. 84 and types the message: %%[ Error: undefinedresource; OffendingCommand: findresource ]%%. Following this, it flushes the project and quits. Subtracting my TOC preface pages (which are Roman Numerals) I judge the offending page to be text #59. There are no unresolved cross references or, so far as I can see, dangling data anywhere on the pages on either side of the offending page. And, so far as I know, there is no way to search for an undefined resource. What is most baffling is that this problem occurs in a part of the book that was untouched by the revisions. Granted, I have migrated to a new computer before attempting this revision. But so far as I know, all the files from the previous subdirectories have been brought into the new hard drive. The one illustration on the page is referred from the correct source, and all markers and cross refs seem properly placed and functioning. Needless to say I'm baffled by this and extremely frustrated. Suddenly the self-publisher can't self-publish. Any suggestions from any of you brilliant folks would be humbly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. ~ Don Spencer ___ You are currently subscribed to Framers as [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send list messages to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] or visit http://lists.frameusers.com/mailman/options/framers/archive%40mail-archive.com Send administrative questions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Visit http://www.frameusers.com/ for more resources and info.

RE: Distiller Printing Error
Hi Don, I haven't had one of these problems in a long time. When output problems arise, I start by making a copy of the project. Then, in the copy, I delete the suspect page and distill the file again. As Rick Quatro pointed out in a separate message, page 85, not 59, is the primary suspect. Watch the Distiller output carefully for clues. Once you identify the problem page, make a small adjustment on that page, such as deleting an imported graphic, and then try again to distill. Keep doing that until you find the specific component on the page that is causing the problem. On the other hand, it may be that there is some kind of corruption in the file that is not related to your material. To find out, copy your material to a new file and try distilling the new file. If the new file distills correctly, the original file was corrupted and your material was OK. Wishing you success, Daniel Doornbos -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of DonandJudy1 Sent: Tuesday, December 19, 2006 7:40 AM To: Framers (E-mail) Subject: Distiller Printing Error Hi, Everyone!
