Try this (FM 7.2 or 7.1 or..., english international):
1) create an equation (e.g. \sum ENTER ^2 ).
The effect will more visible if your equation uses indices and exponents.
2) select the equation (pressing space as often as needed)
3) with the equations palette (delimiters) apply

I'm trying to set up a cross ref to allow me to refer to a footnote
twice on the same page. However, I can't seem to format the figure so it
is the same size and position as the original footnote. Anyone got this
to work?

I upgraded to Acrobat 8 Pro (bundled with CS3 Design Premium Upgrade).
It uninstalled Acrobat 7 Pro as part of the install. I placed my custom
joboptions files (created in Distiller 7) in C:\Documents and
