I really don't know docbook, but *if* you can export it as a .doc file
or .rtf, you can open it straight in frame.

Hi Bill,
Thanks. In FM I can get the index and sort order alright. But the 'translation'
from ASCII indexmarker text directly into Russian text for the help doesn't
work as expected. It looks like Russian, but apparently is not correct.

Hi,
Is anyone out there using FM7.1 and webworks Publisher on a Russian system?
I need to compile HTML Help in Russian from a FM7.1 source using WWP2003.
All goes fine except for the Index.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Well, I have not been clear enough.
We actually have a lot of content in DocBook, and very little in unstructured
FM (one book only, 3 chapters, about 75 pages) so far. The thing is, if we need
structured FM to import DocBook files, then I'd like also to turn my
unstructured book into a struct

If it's that little content I would bring it in as plain text and
reformat as you go. It wouldn't be the trendy way to do it but you
would probably spend less time doing it that way than messing with
EDDs.

Hello all.
If you open the document and let the substitution happen, then check the
console to get the missing name, do a character format search for that
font in the document. It should appear greyed(grayed)out.
Then you can remove the offending characters and that should
permanently fix the probl
