Re: [Framers] Text insets with mini-TOCs not updating
Also, I know that each shared file is set up to use the host file's formatting/settings, but if the shared file has exactly the same paragraph tags w/ numbering schemes as the container file (and not just inheriting stuff), this usually solves a problem or two w/ TIs. [Framers] ANN: "Live" FrameSLT Conversion
Hi Framers, I recently had one of my "anti-webinars" showing FrameSLT, West Street Consulting's excellent FrameMaker plugin. But I forgot to record the webinar! Yesterday, I got a request from a client to do a conversion of about 125 Word tables to structured FrameMaker. I used FrameSLT to help with the conversion and I recorded the entire process. Now you can see a real-world example of how useful and powerful FrameSLT is. This is a raw, unedited video, except that I paused the recording during long operations. The video is just under an hour long. http://www.frameexpert.com/videos/FrameSLT_Conversion.html Please let me know if you have any questions about FrameSLT or XPath. Thank you very much.
