I have a client who wants to import HTML docs into FrameMaker. My
guess is that this will be a copy-and-paste with a lot of manual
cleanup. Anybody have any ideas on how to make this less painful?

I had the same problem. Do you have the display theme set to Windows
Classic? That's what was causing it for me. I had to change the theme
to Windows XP (which I don't like but at least the menus work
correctly).

the PDF, turn on Create Named Destinations. You shouldn't have to do

I need to create a few random Chinese characters in an otherwise
English document. The person I'm working with has this to say:
Frame supports all language fonts, so you'll need to install Eastern
language support. If you're using windows, the fonts are installed
automatically.

I have a large project coming up that involves converting unstructured
FrameMaker docs to structured FrameMaker (7.1 on Windows). Does anyone
know of any helpful websites or documentation to get through this as
quickly and efficiently as possible?

Hi Richard -
The route you suggest is probably what we'll end up going with but we
wanted to explore this other alternative because it's less work when
upgrading existing docs to the new templates.

When you use Ctrl-Alt-click to jump from a cross-reference to its
source, I've always thought there was no way to jump back to the
xref. But some time back, someone on this list posted a keyboard
shortcut that does just that. I can't remember it and can't find it.
