That's a basic use case for cross-references. In your example, you have a cookbook and you're linking to the heading paragraphs of recipes, right? Use the definition <$paratext> and the link to the heading "Peach Melba" will be "Peach Melba." Works the same whether the target is in the current .fm

Hello Bertrand You can link to a paragraph using Hypertext markers rather than cross-refs. Note: Hypertext markers make the text "live" (a link) in the section of text where the source marker is. To limit the extent of the link text, apply a character format to the text you want to be a link.

Is there a way to create a link to a paragraph in the same document? In the list of possible destinations I see page numbers, but that is not good, since page boundaries move around and in fact I need finer-grain targets. I just want to select a paragraph and create a link to it. Not a
