Have you linked FrameMaker projects to RoboHelp before? If not, and
FrameMaker's subset of RoboHelp features don't do the trick for you, my
cheat sheet might help make up for Adobe's weak documentation on the
subject.

[Framers] Reverse engineer Robohelp in to Framemaker?

2017-12-19 Thread Rob Wallis
Just be aware that the current version of FM only does a cut down version
of CHM if you were hoping to use that as your output mechanism. A lot of
the window options are hard coded in FM and cannot be changed. There's
currently an 'enhancement' request raised to make FM read the config files,
if not add it to the FM GUI.

I am interested in this one as well, I have an old RoboHelp project that
does not work well, and I write in Oxygen.
(Though I like FrameMaker much better.)

[Framers] Reverse engineer Robohelp in to Framemaker?

2017-12-18 Thread Tammy Van Boening
OK,

So, I have no idea if this is even possible/ever been tried, but for a
variety of reasons that aren't important here, I have inherited a truckload
of CHM projects done in Robohelp directly - not from Frame to RH. Is there
anyway at all, whatsoever, to reverse engineer these and get them into FM,
even w/ rudimentary formatting and I could take it from there?

TIA,
