Is it possible to create a cross-reference that displays only marker
text? I want to place some cross-reference spot markers which include
only a single word, and then have a cross-reference display only the
marker text.
I'm working with standard FM 7.1, without FrameScript.
Thanks,
David

Hi,
I'm using Mif2Go to create MS HTML help. Instead of having Mif2Go create
the graphics, I would like to switch to having Mif2Go use my existing
graphic files. What steps do I need to take in the INI file make this
change?
Thanks

I don't think it's possible with cross-refs because the text inside
the marker is invisible.
However, you can easily achieve this with hypertext markers. Use
Specify Named Destination to mark the spot. Then type the word, select
it (in order to make it a link) and create a Jump To Named Destination
That worked, Art! Thanks very much.

Shmeul,
I don't have mif2go on this computer, so I can't point you to the
specific page in the manual, but the manual pretty clearly explains
the graphic file handling options. Did you download it? Or just the
example .ini file that contains all options should be enough to shut

Hi Don,
Distiller displays the page number after it has successfully distilled the
page, so if you see [Page 84] before the error, then it is on the 85th page.

Hi Don,
I haven't had one of these problems in a long time.
When output problems arise, I start by making a copy of the project.
Then, in the copy, I delete the suspect page and distill the file again.
As Rick Quatro pointed out in a separate message, page 85, not 59, is
the primary suspect. Watc
Hello fellow list members,
I was wondering if there was a way to import HTML files into FrameMaker
