Hi all!
FM 8.0, Windows 3.1
Just kidding -- Windows XP.
My colleague is attempting to WinZip his book. Every time in the
past, the book has zipped just fine.
This time, when he opens the zipped file, the book doesn't recognize
any chapters. We've tried zipping it by itself, zipping it on a

He's probably got the ZIP program set to NOT preserve (or recreate
when unzipping) the directory/path structure, so the files are not
being placed in the correct locations when he's unzipping. And because
the component files aren't in the proper location relative to the book
file, it can't find 'em
Hi Deirdre,
Did you unzip the book with all its chapters before
you open the book? Or did you try to open the book file
inside of Winzip?
If the latter, it's clear. The book file will not have
access to its chapter files.
Best regards
Winfried

FM 8.0, Windows XP

I ran the book, and three chapters popped up with the error message:
Track_Changes Added Inconsistent
I went into the file before the first error message and saw that all
Track Text Edits options were available except the last

Hi Deidre,
As Art already suggests - make sure the paths are correctly stored.

That sounds like he's trying to open the book directly within the zip file.
This won't work - he has to unzip all files first.
Thanks Rick, Fred, and Shlomo!
