Lurking colors

I know it's an old chestnut, but this is maybe a new twist. I am working with a template that's had a bit of history, and has some color definitions that I *know* aren't used, such as Pantone shades. However, when I ask FrameMaker to delete such a color, it tells me it's used in the document.

Thanks, that does work. But one problem is that reduces the cell insets for all cells in the table and causes text in other cells to run too close together. That was an issue in the original Word document that I was tasked to fix in the frame document. The whole document now looks great in

MIF is the easiest way to find them. And the easiest way to delete them. But note that some unused colors that you delete from the MIF may reappear in Frame if they are actually used in figures. The Frame UI does not provide any way to look inside imported graphics, so it's possible you may try

Just double-click a paragraph name in either list to move it to the other. If you start with the first paragraph in the list, you can just keep clicking and clear the entire list in seconds. No, it doesn't work that way. You have to click on the paragraph tag and then click the Move-It

You don't say how you converted the Word document, but it's always a good idea to wash the file by saving as .mif and then reopening, to get rid of Word's crufty bits. You could also look at the paragraph tag settings for the troublesome content, especially the settings on the Table Cell tab,

What Matt and some others have mentioned is correct: The Table Cell tab in Paragraph Designer allows for individual cell margins and it even accepts negative numbers, so you can adjust the margins for just that one cell instead of affecting the entire table, as you do in Table Designer. ~~Gay
