CTRL+TAB should also bring the focus to the document after Find is clicked.
Entire key sequence that I use in this scenario is:
1. CTRL+f
2. Write text to be found
3. ENTER
4. CTRL+TAB
5. Write text to replace

Spelling -> Dictionaries -> Rehyphenate Document -> OK
We are tracking this issue though an internal bug number 3196405.

We had investigated this issue earlier:
The reason behind the "Offending Command" could be due to a Font family
"Courier" used in those documents.
"Courier New" should be used in place of "Courier" from Windows 7 onwards.
If the references of "Courier" is replaced with "Courier New

tagged pdf combined with shading of table cells.
When we try to do these the full text appears in the output:
