Hi Lin, The Change Bar properties are in Format | Document | Change Bars. The properties are part of the Page Layout. Therefore you can make these properties part of your template and import the Page Layout with the Change Bar Properties into other files. Does this help or do you already know all this? I must not have been clear. I know you can reset the color using Change Bar Properties. The annoyance is you can only do it on a file-by-file or a book-by-book basis. I don't want to have to go into Change Bar Properties to do this.
