FCPX. I've never actually done video capture with Final Cut X. Is it
cutting it automatically at all the points you hit record/stop on the

If you're going to store films vertically, make sure they all have a tight
wind or they will warp over time (this is less of a problem if the films
are used regularly).
Ideally, acetate films would be stored horizontally in archival (Tuscan,
Stil Design) cans.

I still have a 16mm Moviescop viewer for sale in nearly mint condition for
$375 plus shipping.
Also have a 16mm Magnasync viewer in excellent condtion with a wide screen
for viewing, more than double that of the Moviescop for $425.

There are commercial steel racks from Neumade that are very nice and often
show up cheaply now that movie theatres are abandoning film.
You could make your own rack with 1" black iron pipe and pipe fittings. Paint
it with automotive lacquer and it will look nice.
