Does anyone out there in Frameworks land have any experience or knowledge
about this open source film digitalization set up? At the Northwest Film
Center we are trying to find some different avenues for getting a unit up
and going and came across this the other day. Thought I would check to see

We tacked on a $2 charge for Film Freeway to help cut down on the massive
amounts of submissions
from folks from all over the world, which while nice to see all of those
submissions, it clogs everything up as the fest

this festival is regional in nature, filmmakers must reside in Oregon,
Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, British Columbia, it is FREE to submit

The tricky distinction here is between a venue for simply viewing and a
venue/organizaion which will host as well.
Clinton St. Theater in Portland is a wonderful theater willing to host
makers of all sorts.

EFF Portland 2013 is still open for submissions through Feb. 15th, but the
early deadline ends Dec. 31st!
After submissions are $20, but still free for local and international and
