Werner Nekes and Dore O. visited Sarah Lawrence College when I was an student
there in 1971. While of course I recall their Jum Jum, I was more taken by Dore
O.’s Kaldalon, an exquisite “landscape” film, shot during their recent travels
in Iceland. Both were still rapturously enthusiastic about
His website seems to be locked right now, and not sure how much info there
is on there about it, but I've been curious about those who attended Nekes'
workshops in other countries (besides those in Western Europe and the US.)
I know he's been to Argentina and Turkey, but would love to hear more
