I am looking for films that use Asian music - particularly Indian sitar - on
their original soundtrack. The earliest one I have come across so far seems
to be METANOMEN by Scott Bartlett (1966) but I am pretty sure there must be
earlier ones. All help much appreciated!!!

Yeah, A Chairy Tale is Ravi Shankar, totally predates that.
Also, James Whitney's LAPIS, which was released more or less in 1966 (but
worked on for years up to that point), features a Ravi Shankar soundtrack
(taken from an existing recording).

I wondered if anyone could tell me if there are and place in the UK, or failing
that, Europe where I can get 100D and Tri-X 16mm film processed. I know I can
do it myself in the Lomo by splitting my film but I'm curious about the
services still on offer.

Do you mean negative or reversal?
Deluxe Soho, iLab and Prestech, all in London, do neg processing. Prestech also
print 16mm.
The only lab still doing reversal is Film and Photo in Acton (west London):

I meant reversal, very, very steep prices! Although it does make sense
considering how much you pay for 1 super 8 roll. After all it's twice as wide/
long.
I think I'll save up for a 100ft tank instead and do it myself.
