worried he’s gonna close up shop, but I love him. Also it’s nice that he has a

Hello frameworkers!
I was recently gifted a Bolex super 8 camera. It looks like it's in superb
condition except inside the motor battery housing where the AA batteries
had been left and burst.
I've cleaned out all the corrosion and it looks pretty good except for one
contact point which looks rust

Try rubbing Alcohol on the corrosion contact point ,
& make sure you have the batteries the right way around !

Chambless still should have parts for these. They might not be willing to
sell them, and might demand to do the repair themselves.

If the problem is indeed related to the battery contact, you wouldn’t need a
new part, just a rehab on what you have. From the photo it looks like
