Re: [Frameworks] LA super 8 camera: borrow/rental
Happy Holidays! If you are in Washington DC live music and screenings tonight! Films Below 1.Invocation (Ancient Harps) (Nick Collins, 2012) U.K. 6:00 minutes. Rhythms of summer light and ancient stone. 2.Marshy Place Across (Lorenzo Gattorna, 2012) USA | Format: 16mm transferred to DV | color/b&w | sound | 4:30 minutes The title signifies the Native American name for Assateague Island, a national seashore and natural landmark located off the coast of Maryland. A passive bay and pristine beach compose the barriers of this subtle yet stunning passage. Distractions amongst the dunes awaken development of the ecological and departure of the artificial. The film culminates in close proximity to a small band of feral horses that share a common territory and domesticated ancestry. — L.G. You'd probably get one cheaper at the Echo Park Film Center: http://www.echoparkfilmcenter.org/ They may or may not have regular store hours now. (The website says closed until February, but that may mean no screenings.) ... Roger On Dec 27, 2013, at 9:29 AM, Roger Wilson wrote: Pro 8mm is in Burbank. They rent Super 8mm cameras. [Frameworks] LA super 8 camera: borrow/rental
Dear Frameworkers, Hello, I hope you are well. I am in a sticky super 8 situation.. My camera is unable to function due to oxidization of the battery (Canon 814 electric). It is now getting repaired. I am visiting from out of the country and need to shoot something as soon as possible; by tonight if that were to somehow work out- and by the latest next Friday. Do any of you in Los Angeles have a super 8 camera capable of shooting 200t that I could rent or borrow? Thank you in advance for any responses. I am grateful to everyone on this listserv for the help and advice over the years and wish all of you a wonderful new year!
