Are you familiar with Roger Beebe's 'The World According to Tommy'? It has some
similarities to your project, and you might want to take a look at it. In
thinking about Roger's piece, the one thing that strikes me about your idea is
that it seems you'll only have one maker per synopsis, thus missing the
potentially productive (in terms of both art and pedagogy) result of comparing
how different makers with different sensibilities might adapt the same synopses.
Since the nature of these synopses are not stated in your msg., it might help
if you posted a handful of samples to the list.
(I'm curious enough, you can send me the whole list.)
