ok, so I think you're hitting the iwn bug with scanning hanging.
net80211 does scan-channel-at-a-time and instead we should be issuing
a scan command once and then waiting for the results.
There's not much we can do about it without finishing redoing how the
scan stuff works completely in iwn.

I had a very similar issue when I installed SVN r290768 on my T440 on
Monday, upped the laptop to r290927 that evening and everything was cool
again - didn't have a chance to post about it at the time, and it looks
like Adrian had already caught it :)
