Hello everybody,
As gimp 2.8 was released a few days ago, I naturaly tried to get it working on
my 9.0-RELEASE desktop :)
I forked a few ports directories to bump gimp and the dependancies to the
needed versions. Everything seems to work quite nicely.
I'm sure those modifications cannot

Hi all,
I will participate in a GIMP workshop this wednesday. GIMP 2.7.4 will be used in
this workshop. As this is a development snapshot and therefore not in the ports
tree I
wondered if anyone on this list has an unofficial port of GIMP 2.7.4 I could
use?

There is a draft port version. It's far from perfection but works
for me on 8-stable i386 with gimp 2.6.11.

I am a GIMP user and I found gmic plugin for gimp on the above site but there

Probably port of gimp-classic (or option in GIMP port to add this patch) would
be better solution than using outdated version. UI is not the only component

I am really sick of idiotic GIMP 2.6 interface changes that destroys
my multi workspace work habits learned for over 10 years (mainly
related with menu available in toolbar). They want it to become more
photoshop alike. Maybe someone has similar feeling, so I thought maybe
its not that bad idea
I red for gimp-gap 2.4.0_6 graphics =1
IGNORE: does not work with Gimp 2.6, and no update available
GIMP Animation Package:
Reassign ports from ahze@ to kwm@ due to ahze's inactivity and kwm's
activity.
gimp-gap is out from 2009 but not in FreeBSD ports:
