I have been trying for many months to synchronize my Palm Pilot IIIe
with Evolution. I am currently using Gnome 2 with Evolution 1.4.6.
Every time I select 'Palm Settings...' from the Evolution 'Tools' menu,
I receive the following error message:
'Application gpilotd (process x) has crashed
I am using 5.1-RELEASE, Evolution 1.4.5, and Gnome 2.4.1
Whenever I select either the 'PalmOS' Desktop Preference applet in
Gnome, or the 'Pilot Settings...' option in Evolution, I receive the
following crash:

with apcupsd PORTVERSION=3.10.6 on a 5.1-RELEASE system, and have a
question about the correct /dev to specify in apcupsd.conf. My machine
has one, standard serial port.

May I ask what version of apcupsd you are running? When I switched from
linux to FreeBSD, I also upgraded apcupsd from 3.8.0 to 3.10.6
Also note that we are using different versions of FreeBSD (4.8 -vs-
5.1).

I am trying to do a portinstall of Gnome2 on a 5.1-RELEASE-p11 machine
and receive the following error a while after the Ghostscript Driver
selection screen:
Command failed [exit code 1]: /usr/bin/script -qa
/tmp/portinstall1120200.0 make reinstall
Fix the installation problem and try again.

I found a work-around for this problem. At the Ghostscript driver
screen, if I just accept the default drivers, and not add VGA drivers,
that error does not occur.
Gnome2 is still compiling, and hopefully will complete this time.
