Thank you all for your kind and quick help!
Indeed, I am really interested only in the commitlogs so I will
probably try Dan's solution first, then if I need more data, I'll follow
Mel or Giorgos's solutions!
Cheers!

It is not a problem but a marketing decision we
by FreeBSD. I wanted to ask if a driver for this NIC is in the
works and, if not, what would be an alternative Wirelless NIC compatible
with FreeBSD.

I have two hard drives in my machine, the first one has several partions
with Window 2000 as the main OS. The second one has several partions
with FreeBSD on it.
I have installed the BSD boot loader onto the MBR of the second HD. It
shows two options: F1 for FreeBSD and F5 for drive 5. Both o
kernel knows how to send them through the link, there is no MAC
addresses involved.
> Is there a reason that forwarding should be on for these machines?
Some of the machines were not gateways, so we turned of forwading off
on them after we noticed the problem. Doing so reduced the amount of
"fl
C address field set to ANOTHER machine of our network. In other words,
these packets are NOT targetted to the "gateways", neither from their
MAC address destination field nor from their IP address destination field.
So why are these packets "forwarded" ?

The simplest way to install XFree86 is from /stand/
I'm running portupgrade to keep all my ports up to date but have come to
the following issue.
I want to run the latest cvs version of XFree86 -- need it to get the
Vaio to have X11 -- but this is not a port.
So, can I specify an option to portupdate that will skip XFree86 in
automatic updates?
