Floppy drive problem

Hello, Installed FreeBSD 6.0 last year, been using as cross development for VME. But discovered can not mount floppy drive, hardware seems ok, per below. However, mount command fails. Any ideas for me? Thanks Tom Sun Ultra 1 UPA/SBus (UltraSPARC 200MHz), Keyboard Present OpenBoot 3.11, 512 MB
