I use Smart Boot Manager to boot my Windows and FreeBSD. If fits on the
MBR of the first disk and allow ID swap as well as hidding.

Actually had the same problem myself last week.
The write option _is_ there but it isn't showing.
Simply pressing 'w' will ask if you want to write. :-)
