specifically volume adjustments using mixer and other volume control
tools don't change the actual volume.
For example when playing a MP3 at 1% volume the sound is unbearably loud
and moving the volume to 100%
I'm trying to update my sys/pci/if_sk.c and would like to be able to build
several versions without having to build the entire world.
How would I do that?

5.3-RELEASE kernel. This morning, my ThinkPad couldn't boot.
