I'm running DHCP + dynamic DNS here on my home LAN and I've noticed a problem
that needs a manual fix every time the DNS machine gets rebooted. It doesn't
happen very often, but it does happen. :)
My firewall/gateway machine runs FreeBSD-5.4-RELEASE of some patchlevel. It
uses ISC DHCPD

What type of enclosure are you using, is the actual enclosure made by Western
Digital? We use a 'generic' enclosure with a 250GB ATA Western Digital drive in
it - and aside from not having USB 2.0 host/speed... it works quite well. Mounts
as /dev/da1s1d.

Ever since I upgraded the dual Pentium from 4.11 to 5.4,
What I have found is that if I boot with the USB HDD attached to the
system, the system will hang when starting to mount the file systems.
However, if I connect the drive after the system is booted, everything is

good. The information bruteforce needs is being collected by syslog and
placed in the table, when this table is updated pf doesn't update it's copy
of it.
