Guide me in - Data Storage Plan?
Hi Friend Does any one have Company-wide (LAN) Data Storage Plan? My requirement are Number of PC Users: 50 Different OS in Company: Win 3.1, Win 9x, Win Pro2000, Win XP, Lindows, FreeBSD My plan is to take weekly full backup of 15 important PCs and partial backup of rest PCs data file such as Finance/Accounts spreadsheets, Administrator/HR documents, Engineering's drawings, machinist's programs etc. I know only one thing that .. Data Storage Server OS: FreeBSD Security Issues: How to Authenticate different users? (Need Ideas) Please give suggestion which application to use. like, shell I install/set FTP server, HTTP server, SAMBA, etc. What kind of hardware to use? RAID: ??? IDE HDD: ??? (Is 200 GB enough) Backup Tape: ??? (Tape / ZIP drive) Motherboard: ??? CPU: ??? CD RW: ??? (Needed) Help me in visualizing my data storage server. Thanks in Advance. Name Server error
Hi friends, I am getting this error message from my name server nserv1. Name Server error / problem with Win XP
Hi freinds, We are running NameServ1 Name server on Freebsd 4.8 We are getting some kind of error on my name server nameserv1. FYI, TM25 is laptop of out side client and OS is Windows XP Home. nameserv1.lan.company.com kernel log messages: 31 10:47:32 nameserv1 dhcpd: if IN A TM25.dhcp.company.com domain doesn't exist add 300 IN A TM25.dhcp.company.com 10.1.2.165 add 300 IN TXT TM25.dhcp.company.com 31eb2f5e58786ebab0b6eabd298b28671f: domain already exists I feel its some thing to do with Windows XP. Question about Cyrus IMAP
I am newbie in FreeBSD as well as cyrus IMAP world. Problem: Need to setup new POP3 account. I have assume that setting up new account in Cyrus IMAP of POP3 server would takecare of setting up new accounts. I am not able to connect Cyrus IMAP server in POP3 server as I don't know about user password of cyradm or imtest. Can any one help me to find a user and login into POP3 server's Cyrus IMAP.
