If you're going to track -CURRENT, you really should read the -CURRENT
mailing list. Offhand, I can't see how the system map would be
getting locked in your case, but you're right that it seems to be a
bug in the threading code (DRM *is* likely to be related, since it
constitutes a separate path into direct memory manipulation...).

Hello!

I have it too, after compiling kernel with debug info and spinlock
witnessing. It does no harm, I guess...

I get THIS *every* time I exit X-windows:

Problems with -current should not be discussed on the questions@
mailing list. Check the current@ archives before posting in case this
is a known problem (several other LORs in the VM system have been
reported recently and determined to be harmless)

my system:

5.1-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.1-CURRENT #7: Tue Jul 8 22:35:15

I am using DRM (direct rendering module) stuff turned on, and linux compat
as apart of my setup.

I've actually had this problem for about a month and a half, but its
finally worrying me enough to report it. :)
---

My thinking: the threading in the kernel for 5.1 CURRENT hasn't all the
kinks out yet. Does anyone know what is going on?

Before rushing off to the FreeBSD people with it though, they 1) might
already be aware, and 2) maybe I don't understand the error entirely and
its a problem with how I setup my system?

So I'm asking here I guess.
