I can't checkout any branch at all because CVS repository is not
consistent w/o CVSROOT directory. Thus my copy is useless.
Question is obvious: why?

When creating a release using "make release" is it possible to specify the
CVSROOT using pserver or ext?
Or will I have to use NFS to mount my CVSROOT directory?

However, I did not see a CVSROOT directory. This is the directory that
contains all the CVS admin files when you first create a repository. Do I need
to download this directory before I can start using
